Lawyer becomes a painter, that’s my story in a few words.

This might not seem logic, but it suits me. In my adult years I have moved internationally quite a bit. And this is partly reflected in my life choices.

After Budapest, Vienna, Edinburgh and London, I now live in Bratislava with my family. Every new location made me reconsider my options and gave me the chance to explore what I wanted to do. A privilege, I decided. The zigzag route from lawyer to painter is the result of continuous adjustments, learning new things and seizing opportunities.

Painting emerged as a need, a sudden necessity. I started intensive art lessons with a classically trained, Bulgarian painter. Enchanting colour combinations and intriguing creatures, like my daughters, inspire my paintings. Sensitive to colour and harmony, I strive for creating art that exudes peace and energy at the same time.
